Twitter, the Evil

Yes, twitter has taken away from my blog time, no doubt. Twitter is an evil evil web based circle of hell, and I can’t stop. Somehow, I will get out of the habit, but first, I must twitter more.

For the record $HOME/bin works by default in Ubuntu, so you can make youself a /home/yourname/bin directory, put your scripts in there, and run them. Bang!

  1. Nice tip dude, believe it or not i didn’t know that. So i can move all my little scripts in to /home/arron/bin and they work in the terminal.

You’ve gotta love Ubuntu and Linux for all the geeky stuff it let’s us do

  3. Twitter isn’t evil. We just don’t have much self control? It’s a water cooler Application. How else would some geeky truck driver, an IT tech in VA, a Dude in Dallas, A Tech in VT, a Dude in OR. A Tech in UT,A Tech in AL, etc all get to chat Ubuntu / Linux stuff and other things? Oh and lets not forget Canadians, and other countries. Twitter is Quick and simple.
